City to hold deer count in Galena on Wednesday, January 29

The city of Galena will conduct its annual aerial deer count on Wednesday, Jan. 29. Residents will notice a helicopter overhead for the count, likely beginning about 8:30 a.m. The west side of the river will be done first, beginning near Recreation Park. Once the west side is complete, the count will move to the east side.
