BELVIDERE–Donald J. Monahan, 79, Belvidere, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at Northwoods Care Centre, Belvidere, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

There will be a visitation on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018 from 5-7:00 p.m. at Belvidere Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Belvidere. There will be a second visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 from 9-9:45 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will begin at 10 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Geary officiating.

Interment will be at Highland Garden of Memories in Belvidere.

A memorial fund has been established in the family’s name. Condolences may be shared with the family at belviderefh.com.
