Scales Mound offers delivery service during COVID-19 pandemic
SCALES MOUND–In order to help their citizens stay safe, the village of Scales Mound has made arrangements to provide home delivery of groceries and prescriptions for those that wish to stay at home and avoid potential contact with the virus.
Groceries for delivery to their home may be ordered in Scales Mound at Pat’s Country House Groceries or Tammy’s Piggly Wiggly in Galena.
Prescriptions for delivery to your home may be ordered from Hartig Drug or Walmart in Galena.
Any groceries or prescriptions must be ordered and paid for before they can be picked up by their couriers. If prescriptions are from Walmart, you must h ave a check made out in the exact amount to hand to the courier before he leaves Scales Mound.
This service is provided at no cost to Scales Mound citizens. To maintain safe distances as per CDC recommendations, couriers will not enter the home, and will not accept tips.
