Shullsburg announces cleanup day

SHULLSBURG, Wis.–The city of Shullsburg has announced its cleanup day for Saturday, May 14 for city residents. The city will place a dumpster at the city’s burning grounds from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. for city residents only.

An attendant will be present on site. The following items will not be accepted:

•Batteries

•Oil

•Tires

•Appliances

•Paint

•Construction/building material

•All electronics–including but not limited to: Computers, printers, computer monitors, mice, keyboards, televisions, DVD players, VCRs, DVRs, fax machines, cell phones and all accessories.

Dumpsters will be available at the burning grounds on Sunday only if they are not full on Saturday. With questions, call the city clerk at 965-4424 ext. 221.
