GALENA–Rose M. Werner, 61, Galena, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m Thursday, April 1 at the Galena Bible Church where friends may gather after 10 a.m. until time of service. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing, capacity limits and mask requirements will be enforced.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Galena. Cremation rites have been accorded.

FREEPORT–Ann McKinney, 93, passed away peacefully with family at her side, Friday, March 19, 2021, in Freeport, from natural causes.

Cremation care has been provided by the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Shelbyville, on Saturday, June 26, at 1 p.m.
