MINERAL POINT, Wis.–A loving father, a trusting friend, a humble artist and a strong-willed man, Keith Lowden Davis, 76, Mineral Point, Wis., passed away on Aug. 27, 2020, after battling Parkinson’s disease for almost 17 years.

His family is planning to have a last art show and celebration of his life tentatively on Oct. 10.

GALENA–Andrew Duane Trebian, 29, Galena, formerly of Scales Mound, left the Earth unexpectedly on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 3-7 p.m. at the Miller & Steinke Funeral Home, Scales Mound. A graveside service will be Friday, Sept. 4, at the Scales Mound Twp. Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Libby Rutherford officiating. A small luncheon will be served after the burial at the Scales Mound Town Hall.

GALENA–Sharon Nicklaus passed away July 17, 2020 at University of Iowa hospital, Iowa City, after a short but valiant struggle with cancer.

Sharon’s memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Gray Eagle pavilion in Recreation Park, 1801 Field St., Galena. ELIZABETH–Adrienne Ann Iwanski, 85, rural Elizabeth, passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 at Allure Nursing Center, Mt. Carroll.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hanover. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4 at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Hanover, one hour prior to the Mass. Masks are required. GALENA–Brian Lenstra, 67, Galena, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

A private family service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. Due to COVID-19 the family is requesting anyone wishing to pass along their condolences may do so from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 2 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel. They are asking those who attend to please remain in their vehicles to greet the family outside the funeral home. Social distancing and masks are requested. Cremation rites have been accorded. GALENA–Donald “Buckshot” Curley, 85, Galena, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020, at his home with his beloved companion JJ by his side.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 5 at St Michael Catholic Cemetery, Galena, where friends may call after 11 a.m. until time of service. Social distancing and masks requested. EAST DUBUQUE–Eileen H. (Stierman) White, 92, East Dubuque, passed away peacefully at 4:30 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 21, 2020, at UnityPoint Health Finley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

To celebrate Eileen’s life, private gatherings of friends and family will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens at a later date following cremation.
