Russell Michael Grant, 58, Zwingle, Iowa, formerly of East Dubuque, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 from complications of Alzheimer’s dementia at the Bell Tower Retirement Community, East Dubuque.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family cares about our friends and loved ones, and so there will be no public visitation at this time. A private graveside service for family was held at the East Dubuque Cemetery. The Rev. Dianne Grace officiated. Military honors were accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League and the Iowa National Guard Funeral Detail.

ELIZABETH–William James “Bill” Corbett, 76, Elizabeth, was airlifted from Midwest Medical Center on Nov. 18, 2020, and passed away unexpectedly in the early morning of Nov. 19, at the Javon Bea Hospital, Rockford.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will be held when it is safer to gather. Cremation rites will be accorded.

A public Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020 at St. Mary’s Church in East Dubuque, with Fr. Peter Snieg officiating. Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery. A private visitation for family only will be at the Miller Funeral Home in East Dubuque.
