The Stockton FFA Chapter held officer elections on Thursday, Sept. 24. From left, the 2020 officer team consists of vice president Jenna Haas, daughter of Scott and Terry Haas; Secretary Connor Vincent, son of Todd and Tanya Vincent; President Joseph Brudi, son of Brad and Val Brudi; Treasurer Morgan McPeek, son of Robert and Amy McPeek; Reporter Katie Bartch, daughter of Bob and Christina Bartch. Not pictured was Sentinel Taylor Broshous, daughter of Luke and Carla Broshous. The officers will be responsible for planning and carrying out activities for the chapter members, National FFA Week, meetings and fundraisers. Some of these activities include Chapter Game Night, the Annual Chili Cook-Off, Drive Your Tractor to School Day, FFA Week Dress-Up Days and the Ag in the Classroom Day.

The Stockton FFA Alumni Drive-Thru Pork Chop Dinner had a record number of dinners sold. The group cooked over 1,000 pork chops, which surpassed the previous year by more than 200. This event would not be possible without the support of numerous people: the Lessman family for their donation of the pork chops; the Lawfer family for their donation of the milk; the Stockton High School cafeteria staff for preparing the side dishes; Superintendent James Bunting for helping for the entire event boxing meals in the kitchen; the Stockton FFA Alumni for putting in the time to prepare for and carry out the event; and the community for purchasing meals and supporting the program. This is a major fundraiser for our chapter and will be used to send students to conventions, conferences, and competitions.
