GALENA–The Galena Center for the Arts has posted two new “Celebrating Art in Our Lives” videos on its YouTube channel : “Radio WGCA: On the Air” and “Classical Musicians, What Makes Them Tick.”

The Radio WGCA video, posted on Tuesday, July 21, features Jay Dickerson as “The Thin Man” and Emily Painter as “Asta” (the dog). Watch as they share some radio show fun and give a tribute to the many radio show sponsors, including a number of original sponsor jingles.

The second video will be posted Thursday, July 23. John Woodin interviews several past Sunday Salon performers about what it means to perform classical music for an intimate, live audience. You will hear how they prepare, what they do when something goes wrong and see video clips of their concert performances.
