Easter art surprise at Prairie Ridge
On Friday afternoon, April 10, Galena ARC Art Director Liz Larson and her daughter, Padgham, went to work creating a special chalk art Easter message on the sidewalk of Prairie Ridge of Galena. Bonnie Cox, whose mother, Elsie Mae Aide, lives at Prairie Ridge, made a donation to the ARC art program so that the Larsons would create the elaborate artwork that Cox hoped would bring a little joy to her mom and the other residents who are quarantined during the COVID-19 pandemic and were unable to spend the holiday with family.
