GALENA–Leo C. Kern, 85, Galena, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Midwest Senior Care Community.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Galena, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. at the church until the time of mass. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 13 at the Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena. The burial will be in the church cemetery. Military honors will be accorded graveside by Galena VFW Post 2665 and American Legion Post 193.
