GALENA–Mary Lou Cook, 83, Galena, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Mercy One Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa.
A committal service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 6 in Greenwood Cemetery, Galena. Cremation rites will be accorded.
In accordance with state and federal guidance on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be receiving family and friends in groups of smaller than 10 after 10 a.m. at the cemetery. Strict social distancing will be encouraged.
The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, is assisting the family.
