“The Galena Middle School recently acquired some new audio-visual equipment. With money that was raised by this year’s student council as well as money raised by the student councils from both 1984 and 1985, two color TVs and a portable VCR were purchased. This year’s council also purchased a data communication system to help keep students updated on school and council activities. The funds that were raised for the equipment over the last three years totaled $7,500. Pictured above with the new equipment are, from left to right, Jeanne Bussan, Jamie Dimke, Matt Kelly, Brian Wendling and Alice Pearson.”
