Stockton goes virtual until Nov. 9

STOCKTON–The Stockton School District announced on Thursday, Oct. 29 that the district would return to all-virtual learning until Nov. 9. The district previously went to all-virtual learning for a two-week period in early September.

The Stockton zip code is currently the second-highest in the county for COVID cases with 122 as of Friday, Oct. 30.

Students will still follow their daily class schedule during this one-week hiatus with students logging in remotely from 7:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

Remote learning will not begin until Wednesday, Nov. 4 as Stockton had already scheduled days off for Friday, Oct. 30, Monday, Nov. 2 and Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Students will be allowed to receive a school lunch during the remote learning time as well.

It’s anticipated students will return to in-person learning on Monday, Nov. 9.
