Posted

GALENA–The Galena Territory Association is starting a helping hands. It’s a gateway for property owners to volunteer to pick up groceries, prescriptions or do other light errands to support homeowners who cannot or should not be out and about. It’s also a central place for those who need assistance to connect with volunteers.

If you need someone to pick up groceries, medicine or carry-out meals from a local restaurant, email helpinghands@thegalenaterritory.com or call GTA Board Member Eileen Will at 708-205-7887. She will help coordinate arrangements.

If you are not sick and are comfortable venturing out, consider volunteering to bring comfort to those in need. Email helpinghands@thegalenaterritory.com or call Eileen Will at 708-205-7887.g
