Galena fireworks postponed: Galena’s fireworks—originally planned for Independence Day, and then moved to Sept. 6—are postponed again

Citing dangerously dry weather conditions, the Galena Fire Department has recommended the fireworks planned for Sunday evening be rescheduled. A reschedule date has not yet been set, and depends on weather conditions, and availability of the fireworks company.
