SPRING, Texas–Joanna Stauder passed away on July 12, 2023, in Spring, Texas after a short illness. While dementia robbed her of the use of her body and chipped away at her mind in recent years, she was kind, loving, and funny until the end.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Purr-Fection Animal Rescue and Shelter, or Pure Mutts Animal Sanctuary. This would be a wonderful way to honor her.

A Celebration of Life event will be held for Joanna on Saturday, Aug. 19, at 11 a.m. at Recreation Park, Galena.
