ELMHURST–John T. O’Connor, 89, Elmhurst, formerly of Chicago and Galena, died.

Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 28, from 3-8 p.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 29, from 9-10 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will be at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
