Miners reunion cancelled
GALENA–The Miners Forever Reunion will not take place the first Saturday in August this year due to COVID-19.
“I wish everyone a very safe and happy summer,” said organizer Bob Buman. “Please stay healthy so we can have a great Miners Forever Reunion next year. It is always a great time for all of us to get together and reminisce about our past experience with mining and being part of a major part of history in our region.”
According to Buman, the 2021 reunion is planned for the first Saturday in August at Recreation Park.
