Posted

JO DAVIESS COUNTY–Kevin Turner, Jo Daviess County sheriff, said that sheriff’s office dispatchers will ask health-related questions when responding to calls prior to dispatching necessary emergency personnel. The change is due to ensuring emergency responders will be wearing their proper gear before entering a residence.

Turner also said that with the closing of bars and restaurants after business hours on Monday, March 16 that his office has not been given guidance on what charges can be brought to those that don’t follow the order.

He has heard that there is a possibility that those who don’t follow the order would not have their liquor licenses renewed.
