Making a showing at the 4H Fair
Representatives of the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation (JDCF), Galena Public Library, East Dubuque Nitrogen Fertilizer and the city of Galena met at Galena Gateway Park to celebrate the completion of the bilingual story board project for the book, Call Me Tree/ Llámame árbol. Celebrating are, from left, Jean Matthiessen, JDCF; Jenna Diedrich, Galena Public Library director; Hillary Dickerson, cIty of Galena facilities manager; Rachel Lenstra, Galena Public Library youth services librarian; Mark Moran, Galena city administrator; Benjamin Carryer, East Dubuque Nitrogen Fertilizers; Brian Houtakker, East Dubuque Nitrogen Fertilizers; Carl Steien, East Dubuque Nitrogen Fertilizers; Kelly Myers, JDCF director of development.
