Correction

In the Wednesday, July 26 edition of the Galena Gazette, there was a typo in the article entitled, “Hotel Galena and Riverboat Suites is under new management!”

The last sentence in the fifth paragraph read, “all of which takes away from the historic property.” There was a proofing error and the sentence should have read, “none of which takes away from the historic property.”

The updates, to make the hotel more in line with the modern times, have done nothing to the historic features of the property and are still visible throughout the hotel and the suites.

The Galena Gazette apologizes for the error.
