Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in Galena during the Jeep Jingle Parade on Saturday evening, Nov. 26. Participating Jeep owners decorated their cars, delivered Santa and helped to raise money for Riverview Center all at the same time.

On Tuesday, Nov. 8th members of the Midwest Medical Center Auxiliary gathered in the Midwest Medical Center’s lobby for the initial trimming of the tree to prepare for the annual Tree of Love project. This project offers community members an opportunity to honor and remember loved ones during the holiday season by making a donation. By doing so, a personalized ornament is placed on the Tree of Love. Donation envelopes with more information for the project are available in the MMC lobby and gift shop, many area banking facilities and The Galena Gazette. A printable donation form is available at bit.ly/3U0EqKK on the MMC website.
