GALENA–Norma Jean Doherty Hocking, 84, Galena, passed away peacefully on Dec. 9, 2022, with her family by her side.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 16 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Galena, where friends may call after 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. The burial of the cremated remains will follow in the church cemetery. The Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, please send any monetary gifts to Norma Hocking, which will be donated to the Galena EMS or to Norma's brother Jaime who serves as a missionary in Peru.
