Stockton NHS new members inducted
Jess Carryer, Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation education director, talks about Casper Bluff with a group of Le-Win students on Oct. 13. The students visited Kellogg’s Grove, Apple River Fort and Casper Bluff. The Galena Foundation offers up to $1,000 to help transport students to see various places in Jo Daviess County. The curriculum a school desires dictates what is included in the school trip including visits to the U.S. Grant Home Historic Site, Galena and Grant History Museum, the Old Blacksmith Shop or outdoor educational experiences.
