MOUNT CARROLL–Mary Kay Fitzpatrick, 84, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away Thursday, Jan. 12 at Allure of Mount Carroll, with the support of Freeport Health Network Hospice.

Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian burial beginning at 11 a.m., both on Friday, Jan. 20 at St. Mary’s Church, Elizabeth. Rev. Michael Morrissey will officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery immediately following.

SHULLSBURG, Wis.–Vivian A. Allendorf, 97, Shullsburg, Wis., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023, at Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, Darlington, Wis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Gymnasium, 344 N. Judgement St., Shullsburg, with Rev. Peter Lee officiating. Burial will be in St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Shullsburg, with a celebration of life luncheon to follow at St. Matthew’s Gym. A visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 16 from 4-8 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 235 N. Judgement St., Shullsburg, with a rosary being prayed at 3:45 p.m. A visitation will also be held Tuesday, Jan. 17 from 10-10:45 a.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church Gymnasium.

ELIZABETH–Michael Joseph Kirk, 65, Elizabeth, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at home in the loving care of his family with the support of Hospice of Dubuque.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Elizabeth. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will follow.

GALENA–James R. “Dick” Wright, Galena, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. He will be laid to rest at the Ft. Sheridan National Cemetery, Lake Forest.
